Sherri van Everen

Vice President, Ophthalmology Clinical Development at REGENXBIO

Sherri Van Everen has a diverse work experience. Sherri started their career as an Assistant Professor at Northeastern University's School of Pharmacy. Sherri then worked as an Outcomes Research Liaison at Eli Lilly before joining Genentech, where they held multiple positions including Health Economist and Principal Medical Science Liaison. After that, Sherri joined Avalanche Biotechnologies as an Executive Director of Scientific Collaborations. Sherri then moved on to REGENXBIO Inc., where they became the Vice President of Medical Affairs and later the Vice President of Ophthalmology Clinical Development. In addition to their industry experience, Sherri also served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Jack McGovern Coats Disease Foundation.

Sherri Van Everen completed their education at The University of Texas at Austin, where they earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in Pharmacy from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended Texas A&M University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical Science.
