Katarina Eriksson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Katarina began their career as an Utvecklingsingenjör at Waves AB, where they were responsible for designing and testing sensors for concentration measurements in liquids. Katarina also worked on developing sales and marketing materials and represented the company at trade shows.

Katarina then moved on to work as a Trainee at Arla Medlemmar, where they gained experience in various areas of production and production planning. Katarina later became a Strukturutredare at the same company, where they conducted analyses and implemented changes to improve the profitability of the company's stores. Katarina also handled budgeting and financial monitoring.

Following their time at Arla Medlemmar, Katarina joined Arla Smör as a Kvalitetsingenjör, where their responsibilities included conducting risk analyses using the HACCP program.

Katarina then transitioned to Telia Mobile as a Radionätsplanerare, responsible for the expansion and quality assurance of the company's GSM network. Katarina developed network expansion plans based on teletraffic statistics and implemented new work methodologies.

Katarina then joined Ericsson as a Projektledare/Teknisk koordinator, where they played a role in establishing a new support department. Katarina also led process development projects and conducted risk analyses for various projects.

At Göteborgsregionens tekniska gymnasium, GTG, Katarina worked as a Verksamhetsutvecklare/Lärare i matematik & NO. Katarina taught mathematics and physics and mentored students. Katarina was also responsible for mapping and documenting the school's processes and coordinating the school's operational development work.

Next, they joined Experis IT Sweden as a Konsult, where they worked until 2014.

Currently, Katarina is employed as a Scrum Master at AB Regin, where they are involved in coordinating and facilitating the team's use of Agile processes and ensuring their effectiveness. Katarina previously held the role of Project Coordinator in the Product department, where they were responsible for coordinating product projects from start to launch. Katarina liaised with various departments within the company and developed and implemented processes within the company's management system.

Katarina Eriksson earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Engineering Physics (Teknisk Fysik) from Chalmers University of Technology, where they studied from 1983 to 1988. In 2014, they attended Mid Sweden University and Örebro University for courses in Quality Engineering (Kvalitetsteknik), Process Improvement, and Lean Principles. In 2003, they pursued studies in Work and Organizational Psychology (Arbets- och organisationspsykologi) at the University of Gothenburg, along with courses in Mathematics and Algebraic Structures. Prior to that, they completed a 4-year technical program specializing in Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering (Gymnasieingenjör el/tele) at Älvkullegymnasiet in Karlstad from 1979 to 1983. Eriksson also studied Pedagogy at Uppsala University for a semester in 1986.
