Jan Šimůnek

Jan Hlavica is an experienced venture partner currently employed at META V&S since May 2020, focusing on investing in and building companies. Previously co-founder and investor at Twiner.cz from May 2017 to November 2020, Jan contributed to a service aimed at enhancing human interactions. Jan served as a board observer at Runecast Solutions from December 2018 to March 2020, where the focus was on infrastructure intelligence in VMware environments. At OPIFER Ventures, Jan held roles as an associate and analyst between January 2017 and March 2020, managing various projects and scouting startups for investment opportunities. Jan began a career at the Florida Institute of Technology in 2016 as a facility attendant while pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the institution from 2015 to 2017, having previously attended VSB - Technical University of Ostrava in 2014-2015.
