Beth Garcia

Beth Garcia is an experienced special education professional currently serving as a Special Education Liaison at Region 10 ESC since November 2019, where efforts focus on improving outcomes for students with disabilities and supporting local education agencies. Prior to this role, Beth held various positions in the Dallas Independent School District from June 2008 to October 2019, including Special Education Director and Supervisor, overseeing educational services for approximately 14,000 students. Responsibilities included leading department teams, developing instructional programs, and providing professional development. Earlier in their career, Beth worked as a Special Education Itinerant and Teacher at San Marcos CISD. Beth holds a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University and a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Minor in Special Education from Texas State University.
