Niels Martin Nygaard Nielsen

Niels Martin Nygaard Nielsen is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in database administration and consultancy. Currently serving as Team Coordinator and Senior Consultant at Region Hovedstaden since June 2020, Niels leads a team of seven Database Administrators while managing planning, budgeting, and collaboration with enterprise architects. Previously, Niels held senior consultant roles at Lector ApS and NNIT, focusing on application program development and technical advisory services, respectively. Niels's extensive experience includes Oracle database administration at Nordea, IBM, and Unibank A/S, where responsibilities encompassed troubleshooting, performance analysis, and database setup. Niels holds a Master of Science in Electronic Engineering from Aalborg University and a Mathematical Student degree from Dronninglund Gymnasium.
