Sara Munroe

Sara Munroe, MMSt, BAH, Dipl. MM, currently serves as the Manager of the Region of Waterloo Museums & Archives since August 2024, overseeing various aspects of museum operations, program delivery, and artifact stewardship. Prior experience includes a tenure as Director of Economic Development, Tourism & Cultural Initiatives for the City of Brantford, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of diverse divisions and destination marketing. Sara has held multiple roles in the arts and culture sector, including Manager of Tourism, Culture and Sport, and Arts & Culture Development Officer, while also working in marketing and fundraising capacities across several organizations. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Museum Studies from the University of Toronto and various leadership and management certificates from recognized institutions.
