Wietze Dekker

Wietze Dekker is an experienced aviation professional, currently serving as the Lead Ground Engineer B1.1 at Regional Jet Center BV since July 2003. Wietze holds multiple Cat B1 and C licenses for various aircraft, including the Embraer E2 series, Boeing 767, and Bombardier DHC-8-400, and is also a licensed Testrun Sim. Instructor. Prior to this role, Wietze worked as a Ground Engineer B1.1 at Martinair from July 2003 to October 2018, gaining expertise in line maintenance and heavy maintenance on several aircraft types, including the Boeing 767 and Embraer 190. Wietze is a certified EASA Part-66 Line Maintenance Certifying Technician and has a background in aviation maintenance education from Nederlands Luchtvaart College, complemented by earlier schooling at Herman Wesselink College.
