Chris Peterson

Chris Peterson has a diverse work experience in the field of data science, analytics, and statistics. Chris is currently serving as the Chief Data and Analytics Officer and Senior Vice President at Regional Finance (Regional Management Corp.) since 2021. Prior to that, Chris worked at Capital One for a significant period, where they held various leadership roles. These roles included Managing Vice President, Data Science; Vice President, Branded Card Data Science; Vice President, Data Science - Model Risk Management; Senior Director, Bank Divisional Model Risk Officer; Director, Statistical Analysis; and Senior Statistical Analysis Manager. Before joining Capital One, Chris worked as a Senior Statistician at Intel, where they led and managed cross-functional teams to resolve various concerns related to reliability, process development, and supply chain. Chris also worked as a Senior Statistician at 3M, providing statistical support for product development and developing inventory modeling tools for supply chain management. Overall, Chris has extensive experience in data analysis, modeling, and process improvement across multiple industries.

Chris Peterson attended Brigham Young University from 1989 to 1998, during which they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Statistics.
