Steven Brooks Barnette

Steven Brooks Barnette has a diverse and extensive work experience. Steven Brooks started their career as an intern at Milliken & Company in 2000 and then went on to intern at Ernst & Young in 2001. Steven Brooks joined Ernst & Young full-time in 2002 and worked as an Assurance Manager for seven years, managing multiple assurance and auditing engagements for various clients. In 2009, they transitioned to AbitibiBowater, Inc. where they served as the Corporate Accounting Manager, overseeing the corporate accounting department and ensuring timely completion of monthly close, SEC filings, and reconciliations. In 2012, they joined American Credit Acceptance as the Director of Accounting and later became the Corporate Controller. Since 2017, they have been with Regional Finance (Regional Management Corp.) and has held various roles including Corporate Controller, Principal Accounting Officer and VP, Corporate Controller, and currently serves as the VP and Chief Accounting Officer.
