Lisa Sweet

Lisa Sweet, MBA, currently serves as the Interim Chief Executive Officer at Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo Economic Development & Tourism, a position held since November 2018, alongside roles as Director of Business & Investment Attraction and Senior Economic Development Officer. With extensive experience in economic development, Lisa has also been a Senior Economic Development Officer and Acting Manager of Economic Development at the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo since February 2011. Prior experience includes positions as a Commercial Business Advisor at Newfoundland and Labrador Credit Union and Account Manager at the Business Development Bank of Canada, along with a background in personal financial services at Royal Bank of Canada. Lisa holds an MBA with a concentration in Corporate Social Responsibility from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Memorial University, Newfoundland and Labrador.
