Mario M. Ray

Mario M. Ray, MD, MBA, FACP, CIME has extensive work experience in various medical roles. Starting in 2007, they worked at Regional One Health where they held multiple positions including Medical Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation, Medical Director of Subacute, Hospitalist Medical Director, Academic Hospitalist, Interim Medical Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Attending Physician. From 2006 to 2017, they worked at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where they served as an Associate Professor of Medicine, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Assistant Medical Director of Outpatient Medicine, Assistant Residency Program Director, and Chief Resident. In 2019, they worked as a Medical Director at naviHealth. Mario M. also served as the Assistant Medical Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation at Crittenden Regional Hospital from 2006 to 2013.

Mario M. Ray, MD, MBA, FACP, CIME completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Mario M. then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Later, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Physician Executive from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee. In terms of certifications, Dr. Ray is certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Furthermore, they have additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association. Mario M. also holds a certification in Group 3 Inactive DO NOT SELECT Add Recertification Course for HSP + GCP for Clinical Researchers from the CITI Program, a division of BRANY.
