Neil Gaskell has over 25 years of experience in IT management and support, currently serving as the Manager of IT Operations at the Workers' Compensation Board of Nova Scotia since September 1998. This role involves overseeing a team responsible for Tier 1 and 2 support, IT managed service relationships, change management, and service management. Previously, Neil held the position of Manager of Applications and Data within the Information Technology Services division, leading teams in Application Development, Application Support, and Database Administration. Earlier in the career, Neil worked as a Data Analyst at Newfoundland Capital Corporation and as a Programmer/System Operations specialist. Neil Gaskell holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science from Dalhousie University, along with a Diploma in Business Computer Programming from NSCC.

The Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia (WCB) is the province’s provider of workplace injury insurance.
