Saeed A. El-Darahali

Saeed A. El-Darahali is an experienced leader with a diverse background in business and community service. Currently serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at WCB Nova Scotia, Saeed has been instrumental in supporting workers and employers through the organization since November 2021. As President and CEO of SimplyCast.com since 2010, Saeed has contributed to the company's growth as a provider of interactive communication software. Additional roles include Chairman of Curbza Inc., Treasurer of EduNova Co-operative Ltd., Advisory Board Member for the National Research Council Canada, and positions with the Black Business Initiative, Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia, and the Halifax Chamber of Commerce. Saeed has also engaged in academia as a part-time lecturer at the Sobey School of Business. Educational qualifications include an MBA focused on IT and Project Management, a CHR in Human Resources Management, and a BSc in Computer Science and Business Administration, all from Saint Mary's University.
