Ignacio Correa-Ortiz

Ignacio Correa-Ortiz is a seasoned Senior Architect and Urban Designer with over three decades of experience in the field of architecture and urban planning. Currently serving at RTD since 2011, Ignacio has held significant roles in various reputable firms, including as Owner and Principal at an urban design firm (2008-2011), Senior Urban Designer at OZ Architecture (2006-2008), Community Design Manager at HDR (2002-2005), and Senior Urban Designer at URS Corporation (2000-2002). Ignacio began the professional journey as an Architect at Terminal de Transportes de Bucaramanga (1988-1989) and has contributed as an Intern Architect at Cottle Carr Yaw Architects (1992-1994). Ignacio holds two Master’s degrees, one in Architecture and another in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning, from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, along with a Bachelor of Architecture from Universidad Santo Tomás Colombia.
