Laurie Huff

Laurie Huff is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in internal and external communications. Currently serving as the Internal and Executive Communications Manager at RTD since April 2017, Laurie is responsible for the strategic development and execution of the agency’s internal communications, as well as managing its executive communications program. Prior to this role, Laurie received the 2019 General Manager's Award at RTD as a Senior Specialist in Public Relations for exemplary research, writing, and media relations skills. Laurie's background also includes serving as an Editor, Writer, and Public Relations Strategist for Center Reach Communications, where client work involved managing media relations for various companies. Previous journalism experience spans multiple positions at notable publications including the Contra Costa Times, The San Luis Obispo Tribune, and San Jose Mercury News, with a strong focus on reporting and editing. Laurie holds a B.S. in Print Journalism from San José State University.
