Mathew L Cross

Mathew L Cross is a seasoned safety professional with extensive experience in transportation and safety management. Currently serving as a Safety Compliance Officer at The Regional Transportation District in Denver since October 2009, Mathew oversees safety projects and administers operating division safety committees. Prior roles include Transit Safety Specialist at the same organization, Safety Director at Rocky Mountain Hydrostatics, and Senior Loss Control Consultant at Lockton Companies of Colorado, where Mathew received the “Big Jack” Award for client service in 2006. Mathew has a robust educational background, including a Master’s degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s degree in Range Ecology-Mined Land Reclamation from Colorado State University. Additional training includes participation in the Regional Transportation District's Leadership Academy and coursework from the Eno Center for Transportation.
