Jim Gagnon has a diverse work experience in the field of GIS. Jim started their career as a GIS Analyst at Marin Environmental from April 2000 to September 2001. After that, they joined the Regional Water Authority as a GIS Analyst in September 2001 and worked in this role until October 2007. At Regional Water Authority, they were promoted to the position of GIS Program Manager in October 2007 and held this position until the present time.
Jim Gagnon obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1985 to 1989. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Geography with a concentration in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Central Connecticut State University from 1997 to 2000.
