Rae Van Egas has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They began their career in 1991 at Honeywell Consumer Products Group as a Sr. R&D Tech, where they worked until 2000. They then transitioned to a role at Prudential CT Realty, focusing on sales and conducting corrosion and electro-chemistry testing. In 1999, they also worked as a chemist at Duracell for two years.
