Ping Wang is a quantitative analyst and economist with a Ph.D. in applied economics from Auburn University, where they also minored in Statistics. They served as an assistant professor at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law from 2019 to 2022 and as an instructor at Auburn University at Montgomery in 2018. Currently, Ping holds the position of Risk Data Scientist—AVP at Regions Bank. They have consultancy experience with the Worldfish Center and have collaborated with the University of Tromsø and Norway Seafood Council, in addition to authoring several high-quality academic papers and possessing excellent public speaking skills. Ping is proficient in both English and Chinese.
