Wanting Niu

Wanting Niu currently serves as an Assistant Professor and Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate Program Director at Regis College, a position held since September 2023, following an adjunct lecturer role at the same institution from September 2022 to May 2023. Previous experience includes serving as a Principal Scientist at Xellar Biosystems from January to April 2022 and as a Health Science Specialist/Lab Supervisor at the VA Boston Healthcare System from September 2011 to October 2021, where Niu worked in tissue engineering labs. Additional experience comprises a postdoctoral position in the Department of Orthopedics (Biomaterials) at Brigham and Women's Hospital from 2011 to June 2021. Niu earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2010 and a Bachelor of Engineering in Measuring & Control Technology and Instrumentations from Nanjing University of Science and Technology in 2005.
