Matt Reid is a seasoned geology professional with extensive experience in the mining sector, currently serving as Technical Services Manager at Regis Resources Ltd since December 2017, following roles as Geology Superintendent, Senior Mine Geologist, and Mine Geologist. Prior to joining Regis Resources, Matt Reid was with Hillgrove Resources from 2012 to November 2017 as a Mine Geologist and earlier as a Graduate Mine Geologist, undertaking key responsibilities in grade control, Surpac modelling, and OHS implementation. Matt Reid holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Adelaide, where a thesis on geochronology was completed during an Honours year. Field work experience includes investigations in the Reynolds Ranges, New Zealand, and Tasmania. A foundational role as a Vacation Student in Geology at the Geological Survey of South Australia further enhanced Matt Reid’s expertise.
