Craig Gilbert

Craig Gilbert currently serves as the Head of Business Intelligence & Analytics at Registers of Scotland since January 2019, where responsibilities include corporate planning, workforce management, analytics, and productivity reporting. Prior to this, Craig held various roles within the Scottish Government, including Senior Policy Officer, focusing on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and policy development related to children's welfare. Additional experience includes serving as Planning and Portfolio Manager at National Records of Scotland, where a comprehensive review of business systems was conducted, and as Senior Policy and Finance Officer, overseeing medical research policies. Craig has also managed critical projects such as the Crerar Review and the 21st Century Social Work Review. Education was obtained at Dingwall Academy, graduating in 1983.
