Catalina Velasquez

Catalina Velasquez has worked in the software development field since 2013. Catalina began their career as a Full Stack developer at Publinet, then moved to Ingeniero de software at Alianzanet Digital in 2013. In 2015, they became a Desarrollador de back-end at hunting3studio. In 2019, they were appointed Chief Technology Officer at Vivos. Currently, they work as a Backend Developer at Registria, where they use FastAPI, TypeScript, jQuery, Svelte and plain Javascript to implement features requested by their clients for their product registration portal.

Catalina Velasquez has an extensive educational background. Catalina obtained an Associate's degree in Software Development from CESDA in 2008-2010. Catalina then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Publicidad from Fundación Universitaria Panamericana in 2002-2007. In 2012-2013, they obtained a Certification in Xamarin from Microsoft and attended Make it Real camp for Full Stack Web development. Catalina also obtained a Certification in Python from Platzi in 2015-2016. In 2021, they obtained a Certification in Machine Learning with Python from freeCodeCamp and a Data Science Orientation Certification from IBM. Currently, they are pursuing a Specialization in Data Science from The Johns Hopkins University.
