Debra Jobes

Debra Jobes has over 25 years of work experience in various roles. In 2021, they were the Legal Research- Gaming Division Lead at Regology. From 2020-2019, they were an Intern at South Texas College of Law Houston and the Law Librarian and Owner at Law Library Administrative Services (LLAS). In 2019, they were also a Volunteer at Montgomery County Memorial Library System. From 2000-1995, they were a Teacher at Elementary School 1-8 Grade Instruction and a Senior Legal Assistant and Executive Legal Assistant at Hess Corporation and Gragg Oil & Gas, respectively. At LLAS, Jobes was a Contract full or part time Law Librarian with a Masters in Library and Information Science specializing in Database Management. At the Elementary School, they were a Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies Instructor specializing in English as a Second Language and Gifted Talented students in various school districts across Texas. At Hess Corporation, they were an Oil and Gas, Environmental, and Litigation Law Assistant for two senior attorneys in the legal department. At Gragg Oil & Gas, they were an Oil and Gas, Real Estate, Tax, Estate Planning, Wills & Probate assistant.

Debra Jobes received a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Elementary Education and Teaching from Sam Houston State University between 1982 and 1989. Debra then went on to receive a Masters in Library and Information Science from Syracuse University between 2019 and 2020. In addition, Debra has obtained two certifications from LinkedIn, Programming Foundations: Fundamentals in November 2021 and Excel: Power Pivot for Beginners in September 2021.
