Stephanie F. has over nine years of experience in the library field. Stephanie began their career in 2012 as a Librarian (Remote) at the American Military Museum, where they were responsible for cataloging, collection development, reference and research, donor relations, archival and preservation processes, and creating a digital collection. In 2013, they took a position as a Librarian, CF at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, where they applied modern library methods, techniques, and practices in various capacities such as budgets, purchasing, and program development. In 2016, Stephanie became the Law Library Director at Yolo County Law Library, where they planned, organized, directed, and evaluated library operations, and developed and implemented policies, guidelines, budgets, and programming. In 2020, they took a position as a Law Librarian at the University of California, Davis - School of Law. Most recently, in 2021, Stephanie became the Legal Research Lead at Regology, where they use their research skills and legal knowledge to build and maintain law libraries for specific industries across the globe. Stephanie also contributes to the design of new features, algorithms, and solutions for the platform, performs quality assurance, and shares relevant insights and trends on large sets of data.
Stephanie F. completed their Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law in 2019, where they also earned a Capital Lawyering Certificate. Stephanie earned their MA in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University in 2010. Stephanie also holds a BA in Anthropology from San Diego State University.
