RegretShield Consultants was founded on a simple belief — the energy sector deserves technology partners who understand the complexity of field operations and the critical importance of securing them. Built by seasoned professionals with deep roots in Oil & Gas environments, RegretShield has grown into a trusted consultancy serving the most demanding operations across North America.
Will Dotson is a strategic IT project manager and OT cybersecurity architect who has designed and delivered large-scale network and security programs that bridge IT and field operations. His leadership ensures every initiative is planned, staged, and executed with precision — from Azure SD-WAN deployments to full OT tenant integrations.
Carlos Medina is an accomplished cybersecurity leader and former IT director who has built enterprise-class security programs from the ground up. He brings experience implementing Zero Trust, cloud-native protections, and secure-by-design architectures across IT and OT environments, along with practical governance and execution discipline for executive teams.
Together, they've led multi-million-dollar modernization programs, integrated cybersecurity into operational workflows, and developed repeatable frameworks that reduce risk while improving uptime and performance.
Our Guiding Principles
Clarity of Purpose: Every solution ties directly to measurable business outcomes.
Security by Design: Protection is built in from day one — not bolted on later.
Partnership in Execution: We work side-by-side with clients, empowering internal teams to sustain success.
