Alex Alsup

Vice President of Research & Development at Regrid

Alex Alsup has extensive work experience in various industries. They started their career as a Game Designer in 2009 and continued in this role until 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Project Manager at o2 Creative Solutions, where they managed projects for automotive clients and contributed to ideation and production for international auto show reveals.

In 2012, Alex Alsup began their involvement with the Detroit property decline through their role as a Creator at GooBing Detroit. They developed an internationally recognized photography project and website that documented the post-financial crisis decline of Detroit property. This work was featured on Yahoo and used as evidence in Detroit's bankruptcy proceedings.

From 2012 to 2016, Alex worked at Loveland Technologies as the Chief Product Officer. They played a crucial role in developing the nation's first open parcel and property data exploration website and also worked on the development of a SaaS solution for parcel data analysis.

In 2016, Alex joined the Quicken Loans Community Fund as a Director and later became the Senior Director of Housing Stability at the Rocket Community Fund in 2021. At these organizations, they focused on reforming the tax foreclosure system in Detroit, addressing housing instability issues, and managing philanthropic grants in Quicken Loans' home cities.

Finally, in 2022, Alex Alsup assumed the role of Vice President of Research & Development at Regrid, where they continue to contribute their expertise in research and development.

Alex Alsup attended Skidmore College from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters.
