Julia Lukens has a diverse range of work experience. Julia started their career at Colorado State University as a Mentor, where they supervised students and collaborated with other mentors to design group activities. Julia then worked as a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they fabricated and characterized organic photovoltaic devices and presented their research findings.
Julia continued their research experience as a Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Student at the University of Pennsylvania, where they researched hybrid nanoparticle systems and wrote research reports.
At Wellesley College, Julia held various roles, including Research Student, where they conducted experiments and presented their findings at conferences, and Supplemental Instruction Leader, where they facilitated effective learning sessions in physical chemistry. Julia also worked as a Chemistry Department Tutor, helping students improve their grades in introductory and organic chemistry. Additionally, Julia worked as a Research Student, investigating the synthesis of a molecule and presenting their findings, and as a Student Assistant, organizing files and answering questions.
Most recently, Julia worked at Industrial Economics, Incorporated (IEc) as a Senior Research Analyst, supporting environmental policy consulting for public-sector clients. Julia also worked as a Research Analyst, contributing to economic expert reports, Environmental Impact Statements, and agency rulemakings.
Currently, Julia is working as a Data Analyst - Carbon Team at Regrow Ag.
Julia Lukens completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry (major) and Economics (minor) at Wellesley College from 2013 to 2017. Before that, they attended Lakewood High School from 2009 to 2013 to complete their High School education.
