Elizabeth Claypool is a Certified Athletic Trainer with extensive experience in the field of athletic training. Currently employed at UC San Diego Health since April 2019, Elizabeth also serves as a contract athletic trainer for various sporting events through Rehab United. Previously, Elizabeth held positions at Valletta Orthopaedics, Spine and Sport Physical Therapy, and San Diego Spine and Rehab, showcasing a strong background in sports medicine and rehabilitation. Elizabeth began the journey in athletic training as a student athletic trainer at Point Loma Nazarene University, where a Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training was earned. Additional early experience includes roles in physical therapy assistance, library assistance, and retail.
