Stefanie Wiens is an accomplished accessibility consultant, choreographer, director, producer, actor, and occupational therapist with extensive experience in both the healthcare and arts sectors. As a self-employed professional since March 2017, Stefanie specializes in removing barriers for individuals with movement differences in film and theatre, combining expertise in occupational therapy with a strong background in performing arts. In addition to founding SWAK Productions to produce documentary and feature films, Stefanie has served as an occupational therapist in various capacities, including outreach services to preschool-aged children in First Nations communities and community-based services in Sanikiluaq, NU. Education includes a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Manitoba and The University of Winnipeg, and currently pursuing a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Manitoba.
