Rehabilitation Enables Dreams (RED)

RED is a Georgia domestic public charity nonprofit (501(c)(3) corporation. At RED, we engineer rehabilitation programs for pre and post adjudication first-time, nonviolent, youthful offenders. RED’s rehabilitative programs enhance the employment potential of individuals with a criminal record while emphasizing the safekeeping of our communities. Our mission is to increase literacy, reduce poverty and stop recidivism amongst America’s youthful offenders. To accomplish our mission, RED provides courthouses with research driven rehabilitative programs which augment an individual’s ability to remain out of the criminal justice system. RED programs — increase reading literacy through task-oriented comprehension and creative writing workshops; increase financial literacy through task-oriented money management workshops; and increase civic literacy through task-oriented soft skills and civil rights workshops.
