Faisal Khan

Faisal Khan possesses extensive experience in the fields of bioengineering, genomics, and biotechnology, currently serving as the Director and Principal Investigator at Precision Medicine Lab and the Head of the Centre for Genomic Sciences at Rehman Medical Institute. Khan holds multiple leadership roles, including being a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum and Cofounder of Peshawar 2.0. In academia, Khan has served as an Adjunct Professor and held various directorial positions at CECOS University, overseeing significant projects in bioeconomy and integrative biosciences. Khan's contributions to the technology sector include advisory roles for the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board, focusing on the development of the local startup ecosystem. Khan's educational background includes a DPhil in Systems Biology from the University of Oxford and various advanced studies in leadership, policy, cancer biology, and biotechnology.
