Dan Thyer

Dan Thyer has a diverse work experience across various companies. Dan currently works as the Director of Engineering Technology at Rehrig Pacific Company since 2021. Prior to this, they served as the President of Charlotte IoT, a group focusing on Internet of Things technology, from 2014 until now. Dan also worked at Logical Advantage as the CTO and Co-Owner starting from 2003. In 2018, they joined Pratt Miller as the Director of IoT and also provided consulting services for Rehrig Pacific Company as their CTO. Before that, they worked as a Development Team Leader at InfoVision from 1998 to 2003. Throughout their career, Dan has been involved in AI, cognitive computer vision, and IoT projects, and is actively engaged in technology discussions, writing articles, and leading teams.

Dan Thyer attended Charlotte Latin from 1983 to 1989. Dan then went on to North Carolina State University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 1989 to 1994. Additionally, during their time at North Carolina State University, they also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from 1989 to 1994.
