Rafael Marchetti Marcondes

Rafael Marchetti Marcondes has extensive work experience in the legal field. Rafael Marchetti currently holds the position of Chief Legal Officer | Public Affairs | Compliance at Rei do Pitaco, where they provide legal support in various areas such as technology, risk, finance, and human resources. Rafael Marchetti is also involved in structuring new business in gaming and interfaces with Brazilian and foreign investors. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Legal at the same company.

Rafael has also held roles in various organizations, including being the President of the Associação Brasileira de Fantasy Sport and the Legal Director at the Instituto Brasileiro de Jogo Responsável. Rafael Marchetti has also worked as a professor at CBF Academy, IBET - Instituto Brasileiro de Estudos Tributários, and Escola Paulista de Direito.

In terms of their early career, Rafael worked at Pinheiro Neto Advogados as an Associated Consultant, Senior Lawyer, Full Lawyer, Junior Lawyer, and Trainee. Additionally, Rafael served as the Legal Director at Clube Alto dos Pinheiros, where they participated in meetings with the board of directors, negotiated and analyzed contracts, and monitored legal processes. Throughout their career, Rafael has demonstrated their expertise in legal operations, compliance, gaming, tax law, and academic instruction.

Rafael Marchetti Marcondes has a comprehensive education history with a focus on law and taxation. Rafael Marchetti obtained their Bachelor's degree in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo in 2004. Following that, they pursued a Postgraduation (Specialist) in Tax Law/Taxation at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas in 2005 and completed their Master of Laws (LLM) in Tax Law/Taxation from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo from 2008 to 2011.

In 2012, Rafael Marchetti Marcondes pursued their Doctor of Law (JD) in Tax Law/Taxation at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, completing it in 2015. Rafael Marchetti further expanded their skill set in 2018-2019 by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Sports Management and Legal Skills from ISDE.

In 2021, Rafael Marchetti Marcondes is pursuing a Master's degree in Sports Gambling Education from Ohio University. Additionally, they have acquired additional certifications, including being Cambridge Certified in Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies from the University of Cambridge in August 2021. Furthermore, Rafael holds a license from OAB - Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil obtained in January 2005.
