Ben Farmer is currently the Director of the Voice of the Employee team at REI, where they focus on enhancing employee engagement and informing leadership decisions through analytics and insights. Previously, they served as the Principal IO Psychologist at Whole Foods Market, leading initiatives in employee listening and organizational development. Ben’s academic background includes a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Houston, where they also taught various psychology courses. They have extensive experience in consulting roles, including work with the City of Houston and other organizations to improve workplace culture and employee relations.
