Cameron Castro

Cameron Castro is an experienced professional with a strong background in category management and merchandise planning. Currently serving as an Assistant Category Manager for Electronics and Outside Essentials at REI since November 2022, Cameron oversees vendor relationships and seasonal assortments, focusing on product categories such as electronics, hydration, and outdoor accessories. Prior experience includes a role in merchandise planning at Camuto Group, where Cameron managed a $55 million wholesale brand and optimized inventory for a 285-store retailer. Additionally, Cameron contributed to adidas Group as an Assistant Merchandise Manager, significantly increasing yearly sales for Kohl's by $500 million. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from Grand Canyon University.
