Gary Hunter

Gary Hunter currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at REI since July 2025, focusing on securing the trust and digital experiences of stakeholders through resilient security programs. Previously, Gary held several key roles at The Walt Disney Company from December 2014 to August 2025, including Executive Director and Information Security Officer, where responsibilities included overseeing security operations and integrating security within business processes, and leading efforts for Disney+ and Hulu. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Security Engineering at Expedia and as Enterprise Architect at Travelport, where architectural solutions were developed to enhance market positioning. Gary holds an Associate's Degree in Computer Science from Swindon and a High School Diploma from Wootton Bassett.
