Ron Mackaay is an experienced database administrator with a strong background in Oracle technologies, currently serving as a Principal Database Administrator at REI since February 2016. Prior to this role, Ron held various senior database administration positions at organizations such as Sprint and Clearwire, specializing in Oracle database management. Ron's expertise includes maintaining enterprise infrastructure in compliance with GxP and SOx regulations, strategic planning, and disaster recovery within Oracle 11g Linux RAC environments. With a career spanning over two decades, Ron has also worked extensively with The Boeing Company and other notable firms, starting as a Systems Consultant at Pangaea Systems and progressing through roles that enhanced database and application server environments.
