Esther Cheung

Esther Cheung serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of R&T/TBS. She is responsible for directing and overseeing the financial activities of the company. Ms. Cheung manages the preparation of the company’s financial statements, management reports, budgets and forecasts. She is the company’s primary contact for financial audits, tax returns and banking matters. Ms. Cheung has over 10 years of experience in financial reporting, SEC reporting and GAAP accounting.

Prior to joining the company, Ms. Cheung was Manager of Financial Reporting, Broker Dealer Finance with Prudential Financial, where she reviewed and approved the Net Capital calculation (SEC Rule 15c3-1) and the Customer Reserve computation (SEC Rule 15c3-3). She also managed the preparation of regulatory filings such as the FINRA FOCUS Reports, SEC Form 17-H Risk Assessment Reports, and SIPC calculations. Her previous roles include, Treasurer of Credit Suisse U.S. Funds; Head of Fund Accounting at Reich & Tang Asset Management and Treasurer of Reich & Tang Money Market Funds.

Prior to joining Reich & Tang Asset Management, Ms. Cheung was an Audit Manager at KPMG, where she specialized in financial statement audits of mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity funds and investment advisors.

Ms. Cheung is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York and a Financial and Operations Principal (FINRA Series 27). She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baruch College in New York, NY.
