Stefan Ries has had a diverse range of roles in various companies throughout their career. Stefan started at Huber & Suhner AG in 1989, where they held positions such as Head of Development optoelectronic and Head of Product Management Fiberoptic. In 1997, they became Market Manager Private Networks, and in 2001, they were promoted to Head of Sales & Marketing Private Networks. Stefan then joined TBT in 2003 as the Divisionmanager Commercial Education. In 2004, they moved to Reichle & De-Massari AG, where they served as Vice President Private Networks until 2012 and eventually became the Head of Global Key Account Management.
Stefan Ries completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics from NTB Interstaatliche Hochschule für Technik Buchs SG, which they attended from 1983 to 1987. Stefan then pursued further education and obtained a Bachelor of Economics degree, majoring in Economics, Marketing, and Management from ISG, where they studied from 1993 to 1995.
