Thomas Knieling

Thomas Knieling has extensive experience in the IT field, with their most recent role being the Head of Corporate IT & Business Applications at Reichle & De-Massari AG, which they have held since 2014. In this position, they are responsible for managing Corporate IT, Business Applications (specifically SAP), Infrastructure & IT Support. Thomas has a team of 19 direct reports and is currently overseeing the global rollout of SAP to all sales subsidiaries. Thomas is also working on implementing a new Digital Workplace using Office 365 and Sharepoint 2016 across all locations of R&M.

Prior to their current role, Thomas Knieling worked at Nobel Biocare Holding AG for a significant part of their career. Thomas held various positions within the IT department, starting as an IT Manager for EMEA in 1988. Thomas later progressed to the role of IT Director for EMEA, which they held from June 2005 until December 2013. During their time at Nobel Biocare Holding AG, they were involved in IT management and played a key role in overseeing IT operations and providing technological support to the organization.

Thomas Knieling attended Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln from 1988 to 1991. During this time, no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. In 2013, they obtained a certification as a Certified Cobit 5 PRO from APMG/ISACA.
