Jakob Schnyder

Jakob Schnyder is the current Operations Manager at Reichmuth & Co. Jakob has an extensive background in financial services and web-based platforms. Jakob previously worked as a Scientific Associate at the Institute for Financial Services in Zug, where they were responsible for the conception and development of a web-based rating platform for corporate governance evaluations. Jakob also supported the executive management of the Zug Commodity Association and assisted with the MSc Banking & Finance program. In addition, Jakob has worked on various research projects, including one on the drivers of interest margins for fixed-rate mortgages. Jakob has also authored multiple scientific publications.

Prior to their work at the Institute for Financial Services, Jakob worked as a customer service representative at ricardo.ch, where they led the development of a web-based MIS system for evaluating performance within the support team. Jakob also supervised the evening support team, conducted monthly meetings with group leaders, and wrote meeting protocols. Jakob was also responsible for onboarding new employees, conducting quality control checks, and leading annual performance reviews. In addition, they monitored the progress of ongoing projects and ensured that employees received regular training on new software and processes.

Jakob Schnyder has a MSc in Banking & Finance from Hochschule Luzern - Wirtschaft and a BSc Business Administration from Hochschule Luzern - Wirtschaft.

They are on a team with Michael Mehr - Operations, Robert Vogler - Operations, and Aurelio Schmid - Operations. Jakob Schnyder reports to Nadja Borges, Head of Finance & Operations.
