Jakob Onken

Jakob Onken is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and research within the engineering sector. Currently serving as Director of Product Management at Reifenhauser Group since January 2022, Jakob previously held roles including Executive Assistant and Manager of Strategic Projects. Prior experience includes working as an R&D Engineer in Neurosurgery at B. Braun Gruppe and as a Research Assistant at the Institut für Kunststoffverarbeitung (IKV) specializing in material modeling, part design, CAE, and additive manufacturing. Jakob also contributed as a student research assistant focused on micro injection molding, and has interned at HF MIXING GROUP. Educational credentials include a Dr.-Ing. and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, along with research experience at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
