Ronald J. Chernek

Managing Shareholder, Ohio Foreclosure at Reimer Law

Ronald J. Chernek joined Reimer Law in June 2002 after ten years as a practicing attorney and an additional ten years in the banking industry. Mr. Chernek is the Managing Shareholder of the Ohio Foreclosure Division. In addition to his practice in the area of creditors’ rights, he has handled general real estate as well as corporate and probate matters.

Mr. Chernek received a Juris Doctor degree in 1987 from Cleveland Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State University. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Dayton in 1978 and a Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University in 1981. He is a member of the Ohio Bar and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

Mr. Chernek is a past chair of the Education Committee of the USFN and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. He has authored articles on creditors’ rights and has lectured on various subjects relating to creditors’ rights, foreclosure and loss mitigation strategies.
