Victoria Rostow has a vast and diverse work experience. Starting in 1984, they worked as an Associate in the Regulatory Practice at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP until 1987. Following this, from 1987 to 1989, they served as the Director of Medical Liability Studies at the National Academy of Sciences. From 1987 to 1990, they also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University Law Center. Moving forward, from 1990 to 1995, they were a Partner in the Public Law and Policy Practice at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP. Following this, from 1995 to 1998, they served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs and Public Liaison, Domestic Finance and Banking at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. From 1999 to 2001, they worked as Of Counsel in the Financial Services Practice Group at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. In 2001, they became the Senior Vice President and Head of Federal Government Relations at JPMorgan Chase & Co. for four years. From 2005 to 2008, they were a Partner and Head of the Financial Services Practice at SNR Denton. From 2009 to 2012, they served as the Director of Governmental Affairs and Head of the Washington, D.C. Office at the National Association of Bond Lawyers. Finally, since 2012, they have worked as the Senior Vice President of Regulatory Policy and Deputy General Counsel at Nareit, where they advise senior executives and board members on regulatory policies and developments regarding REITs.
Victoria Rostow completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Yale University from 1974 to 1978. Victoria then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Cambridge from 1978 to 1980. Finally, they attended Yale Law School from 1980 to 1983, where they obtained their Doctor of Law degree (JD) with a specialization in Law.
