Nick Smisdom

Nick Smisdom currently serves as the Lead DevOps Engineer and Data Architect at Rejuvenate Biomed since March 2024. Previously, Nick held various roles at XiTechniX from August 2019 to December 2023, where responsibilities included business analysis, functional and technical design, and data processing, with a focus on laboratory information systems and data workflows. Prior experience includes a position as a Scientific Application Specialist, contributing to the VLAIO innovation mandate on data integration for precision medicine, and a scientific researcher at both KU Leuven and Hasselt University. Nick Smisdom earned a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Hasselt University and holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Transnational University of Limburg.
