Aksana Labokha

Aksana Labokha has a diverse work experience in the life sciences industry. Aksana started their career as a Research Associate at University College London, where they focused on studying novel isoforms as potential targets for antiretroviral therapy. Aksana then worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at MedImmune, where their research projects involved immunotoxins and drug candidates targeting oncogenic signaling pathways.

Labokha later joined Kymab Ltd, where they held various roles including Senior Scientist/Team Leader, Business Development (secondment), and Research Scientist. Aksana'sresponsibilities at Kymab included performing due diligence on potential partners, creating financial models for funded projects, and conducting market analysis for portfolio building. Aksana also attended a training course in Healthcare Business Development and Licensing.

Labokha then moved on to work at Epidarex Capital as an Associate. At the venture capital firm, they provided risk capital and expertise to support and build early-stage life science companies. After their tenure at Epidarex Capital, they became a Board Observer at Macomics, an immuno-oncology company developing cancer therapies.

Currently, Labokha holds several key roles at various Rejuveron companies, including the positions of Chief Executive Officer at Rejuveron Life Sciences AG and CEO and Board Director at Rejuveron Senescence Therapeutics. These companies focus on the development of novel therapies and technologies for healthy aging, lifespan prolongation, cancer treatment, and age-related diseases.

Labokha's work experience spans across research, business development, investment, and executive roles, demonstrating their expertise and knowledge in the life sciences industry.

Aksana Labokha earned a Doctor of Life Sciences degree in Biochemistry from The University of Göttingen in the years spanning from 2005 to 2010. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2005, they completed their Master's degree in Molecular Medicine and Radiobiology at International Sakharov Environmental University. Aksana also obtained a certification in Healthcare Business Development & Licensing Training from PHARMACEUTICAL LICENSING GROUP LIMITED in March 2018.
