Said Abdelmonien Zedan

Said Abdelmonien Zedan has a diverse work experience in the field of facility management and construction. Said currently holds the position of Deputy Managing Director/Operation and Technical Director at Rekeep, where they are responsible for overseeing the operations and technical aspects of the Riyadh Metro project in the Middle East. Prior to this, they worked at Serco as a Facility Management-Engineering Services Manager and FM Operations Manager, where they managed and delivered MEP/civil/customer services for over 180 buildings. Before that, they served as the Facility Manager-Building Services Maintenance Management at Serco-Dubai Metro, overseeing MEPS hard services and assets management for Dubai Metro. Said also has experience as a Construction Manager at Obayashi Kajima Yapi Merkezi JV, where they were responsible for coordinating MEP designs and ensuring safety on site. Additionally, Zedan has worked as a Technical Manager at Orascom Construction in both Egypt and Alexandria, where they carried out various technical roles.

Said Abdelmonien Zedan completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Alexandria University between 1992 and 1999. Said has also obtained several additional certifications throughout their career. In 2019, they received a certification in ISO 9001:2105 quality management system from LRQA AMERICAS SUSTAINABILITY, INC. In 2018, they completed a Finance and Contract basic management professional training from LEORON Institute. In 2015, they obtained certifications in IOSH UK based from the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, Level 3 certificate in leadership and Management from The Institute of Leadership & Management, and ICAM lead investigator rail safety incidents from Safety Wise.
