Philip Jonzon Jarl

Philip Jonzon Jarl has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Philip co-founded and served as CEO of Relate, a dating and relationship app. Philip was also an Impact Tech Member at Norrsken Foundation, Europe's largest hub for social impact organizations. Philip was an Incubate Member at SSE Business Lab, a prestigious business incubation program. Prior to this, they took a career break to focus on self-reflection and personal growth.

Philip also has experience in the retail industry, having worked at H&M as a Lease Manager and Expansion Controller. Philip was responsible for negotiating with landlords and expanding H&M's presence in Northern Spain and the Canary Islands. Philip also held the role of Country Controller Production/CFO and Business Controller Supply Chain Production at H&M, overseeing financial aspects of the business and leading multinational teams.

Additionally, Philip embarked on a unique personal journey where they circumnavigated the planet without flying in 100 days. Philip documented their experiences and encounters during this adventure. Philip also gained marketing experience through internships at Oriflame Cosmetics and Tre Kronor Media, where they worked on advertising projects and business development.

Philip Jonzon Jarl has a diverse education history. Philip obtained both their Bachelor and Master of Science (M.Sc.) degrees in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics, which they attended from 2006 to 2012. In 2010, they participated in the Masters Program in MCXL Marketing Communication at the same school, taught by Professor Micael Dahlén. Additionally, in 2010, Philip engaged in a master exchange program at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, focusing on International Management.

In 2011, Philip attended the National Institute of Design, where they completed a course in Trendspotting. Before pursuing higher education, Philip completed their high school education at Malmö Borgarskola in Sweden from 2002 to 2005, majoring in Natural Science and Languages (NVNI). Philip also participated in high school exchange programs, spending a year at San Dieguito High School Academy in the USA in 2005 and attending I.E.S. Sagasta in Spain for a short period in 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Philip Jonzon Jarl has obtained certifications to further enhance their skills. These include the Desifer Growth Lab program, titled "Launching and growing digital ventures," obtained from Desifer in December 2020. Philip also received the SSE Business Lab Incubation Graduate certification from SSE Business Lab in July 2019.
