Cindy Nelson

Cindy Nelson is a dedicated mental health professional currently serving as a Mental Health Therapist at Relate Counseling Center since September 2023. Previously, Cindy completed a Mental Health Counseling Internship at NorthStar Regional from January to October 2023 while also pursuing a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Crown College, where studies were conducted from 2020 to 2023. Alongside mental health roles, Cindy has a diverse career in creativearts and consulting, having worked as a Christian Speaker, Singer, and Songwriter at Road to Joy Ministries until April 2023, and served as a Training, Consulting & Implementation Coordinator at SafeGenerations in 2019. Earlier experience includes roles in accounting and financial analysis, notably as an Accounting Specialist at The Lutheran Home Association and Assistant Controller at Pepper Construction Company. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and English Writing from Concordia College, obtained from 1986 to 1989.
